KCET 2017 is a state level common entrance exam which is organized by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Bangalore in order to provide admission into academic session 2017 to the student who are willing to seek admission into different UG (Undergraduate) engineering programs in the Karnataka State. KCET Application 2017 will be going to be released in the 2nd week of January 2017 after the release of the official notification. The application forms will go to be filled only on its official website mentioned below. All the student who is qualified can fill in the form. The student must have an Indian citizen who is going to apply.
A student who has passed his 2nd year PUC or 12th class or it’s similar with Physics and Mathematics as well as with chemistry, Bio- technology, Biology, Electronics, Computer Science and with English as one of the Language subjects with minimum 45% marks are eligible for applying.
The students who all are appearing and waiting for results are too eligible or the student belonging to reserved category are needed to pass above-given qualification with minimum 40% marks.
The common entrance test will go to be held in the 1st week of May 2017.
The pattern of the examination helps the student to know the language of the paper, the length of the paper, marketing system, and type of questions, number of questions, syllabus and much more.
The examination will consist of MCQ based on the Subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Total 180 marks and 60 marks will be distributed to each section.
The students have to complete the examination in 80 minutes.
No student will be given extra time for completing the examination.
The student will be given 1 mark for every right answer and there will be no negative marking for any wrong answer marked.
Admit card will be released after the completion of the application form. The admit card of the KCET 2017 will be issued in the 2nd week of the April 2017. Admit card can be downloaded by the student from the official website. It is a mandatory document as without this document you will not be allowed to sit in the examination so it is strongly recommended to the student that to bring their KCET Hall Ticket 2017 with them at the time of examination.
Answer keys is necessary for students who all have appeared in the examination. KCET 2017 Official Answer Key is released for student’s benefits. With answer, key students can check their answers marked by them which will be released in the 2nd week of May 2017 after the completion of the examination.
Results are always been necessary for students who have appeared in the examination. The results of the student who have appeared in the KCET examination will go to be publicized in the last week of the May 2017. The cutoff marks will give an idea to the student that where they secure their position in the merit list. Karnataka CET 2017 Cut Off will be declared by the examination authority of Karnataka. KCET Cut Off Marks are made by the authority on the basis of student Performance in the examination.
The counseling process of the Karnataka CET 2017 will start after the declaration of results. It will be held via online along with their all original documents. Once they get their documents verified then they will be able to proceed further Counseling Procedure.
