NIMCET is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2016 for MCA courses. This is a National Level Test which is conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme. The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme is offered by NITs and designed to considering the different Information Technology firms in India and abroad. NIMCET is a qualifying examination, and admission select of candidates on the basis of merit list to Masters of Computer Application programme at any one of the participating NITs. Candidates will check the minimum qualification and age required for admissions. NIMCET exam conducts every year in the month of May for admission to various NIT’s.
Candidates who will desire to take admission in the Master Degree Courses should be bachelor Degree and also total of 60% marks from the recognized University or Institutions.
The candidates who will in the last year of the course, they can also appear in the entrance exam.
Candidate should be Indian nationality.
Candidate should be secured 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA for General and OBC candidates.
Candidates should be completed three-years of full time courses such as BSc/BSc (Hons)/ BCA/BIT qualifying examination from a recognized university.
Those belonging to the reserved categories including have need to secure 55% marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
Candidates will have a valid proof of a certificate that they are appearing for the examinations during the academic year.
Candidates can submit their proof at the time of Admission.
Candidates who are pursuing BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT courses from Open Universities are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2016.
Conversion from CGPA to percentage vice versa will not be permitted.
Candidates will be taking into consideration only if the relevant programme has been approved by the UGC/AICTE & the Distance Education Council under the Government of India
