JEE Mains 2018 Eligibility

All candidates who want to go for exam those candidates must have to check the eligibility criteria before filling the form.

Age Limit: Age is an important factor for being an eligible for the exam. Date of Birth of candidates should be on or after 1st October 1992 for general candidates. 5 year age relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates. It means candidates must have born on or before 1st October 1987.

Education Qualification

  • If any candidates have done the three-year diploma they can also eligible for the exam.
  • Candidates must have passed the 12th Class or equivalent Exam in 2016 or 2018 from any recognized board. All candidates must have studied the Physics, Chemistry and Math Subjects.
  • All those candidates who have passed the 12th class in 2015 those candidates will not eligible for the exam. Minimum five subjects are mandatory for all candidates to study in the 12th class.

JEE Main 2018 Exam Dates

Candidates can appear in the exam for paper 1 & paper 2. You need to get the admit card and report at exam center on or before the IIT Entrance Exam 2018.

JEE Main 2018 Application Form

The application form is most important part of being appeared in the exam. All candidates can fill the application form through online mode on its official website First of all, candidates have to download official notification and go through all details. Now you have to start filling the application form. Online Registration will start from 1st December 2017 only online mode. No other mode is applicable for filling the form.

All candidates must have to register online till the last date i.e. January 2018. Candidates will responsible for rejection of JEE application form 2018 if he/ she will fill the incorrect form. All candidates need to follow three steps for completing the application form.

1st Step: – All candidates need to access the website and click on the link to APPLY ONLINE. Candidates can appear in the exam after registration. 2nd Step: – Candidates must have the scanned photograph, signature, and left thumb impression. You need to upload in the valid format and save it.

3rd Step: – All candidates can pay the examination fee through online or offline mode. You can complete payment process and complete the application form. Candidates must have to get a printout of application form for future reference.

JEE Main 2018 Application Fee

All candidates need to pay the application fee for completing the application form. Examination fee can pay through online as well as offline mode. Candidates can select any one mode for paying the fee.

  • Online Mode: – Candidates can use Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. It is one of the easiest ways to pay the fee.
  • Offline Mode: – if you want to pay through offline mode then you need to download E-Challan and pay at Syndicate/ Canara/ ICICI/ HDFC Bank until the last date.

JEE Main 2018 Exam Pattern

Paper 1 conducts for admission into engineering courses such as B.Tech/ BE. Candidates have to complete the paper with 3 hours. You can appear either in the online or offline test. There will be 90 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. 4 marks have given for the correct answer. Any wrong opt answer will be deducted 1 marks.

JEE Mains 2018 Syllabus

The question will be asked from the various subjects. Paper 1 contains the MCQ question from physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Candidates can read the syllabus and see the important questions. Written and the computer-based test has conducted in the month of April 2018. Answer Sheet will upload by CBSE, New Delhi on its official website. It will publish within a week after the exam. Counselling will be conducting by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) in the month of June to July 2018.
