VITEEE 2017 Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Mode of Exam
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University is the well-renowned institute of Engineering in the country. It has been known for its high level of competitive exam conducted for the engineering colleges throughout the country. Students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM), or Biology (PCB) in the 12th board with at least of 60 % marks can give this entrance exam. Through this exam, the student becomes eligible to apply for good reputed colleges and universities in the country. VITEEE 2017 Exam Pattern is very simple, all questions will be of an objective type that will include three parts of the paper that are:
- Part 1 -> Physics
- Part 2 -> Chemistry
- Part 3 -> Mathematics/Biology as per the selection of the subjects by the students in the 12th

At the time of the slot booking, the selection pattern has to be decided by the student that suits him/her the most. The students who are attempting parts Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for all the 14 programs than for those who are qualified in the PCB that is Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; they can apply for some selected courses only.
Physics —-> 40 Questions —-> 40 Marks
Chemistry —-> 40 Questions —-> 40 Marks
Mathematics/Biology —-> 40 Questions —-> 40 Marks
English —-> 5 Questions —-> 5 Marks
Total —-> 125 Questions —-> 125 Marks
VIT Engineering Test Structure 2017
PCB students are only eligible for the B.Tech, Bio-Medical, and Bio Technology. All the questions will come through the state board of higher secondary education and the CBSE syllabus itself. All the information about the subject syllabus is easily available on the VIT University Official Website. There are multiple choice questions provided with four options per question out of which only one is correct.
Each part consists of 40 questions with one mark. You are given the OMR sheet which is provided with four options and you have to darken the one option you find correct to answer the asked question remember, that the OMR sheet should not be torn up. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers so, students are advised to answer freely and attempt each and every question in the exam.

Date of VITEEE 2017 Computer Based Test: – 5th to 16th April 2017
Announcement of VITEEE Results 2017: – on or before 24th April 2017

12:30 PM TO 3:00 PM
4:00 PM TO 6:30 PM
Duration to complete the exam is for 2 hours 30 minutes. You have to finish your exam well within this required time period so, plan the exam and finish it in time.
